1. What do you believe needs to be added to Brisbane to improve its level of tourism
-More major events within the city.
-More hotels
2. What are your plans for tourism in the future
-Same as previous
-Changing peoples perspective of Brisbane and raising awareness
3. A lot of people we have surveyed have said that whilst Brisbane has plenty on offer in terms of tourism, its just not well advertised or well known. do you believe this is fair?
- It depends
- trying to encourage people to advertise through social media
- need to change the opinions of people
4. Do you believe there is enough public transport through out the city to enable people to easily access the various attractions?
-absolutely
-very well connected by the river
5. Do you think that the tourism in Brisbane is important for its economy?
-100%, very big industry throughout Queensland.
6.What do you think is the most successful attraction in Brisbane?
-you cant really go past south bank and the cultural precinct
7. What is your definition of a world class city
something that can deliver world class cultural and sporting events, also has an offering of food, safe city, friendly city
8. On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate Brisbane's safety and do you think this is important when it comes to tourism?
- very important
- people strongly influenced by negative events in the media
9. What are the three most successful attractions
- depends on what a tourist is looking for
- South bank, GOMA, & QPAC, koala sanctuary
10. Following on from the last question, what do you think makes these so successful?
- their ability to deliver a unique experience
11. Do you think Brisbane's tourist attractions appeal to a wide demographic?
-absolutely
-there is something here from everyone
12. Do you think Brisbane tourists get good value for there money
- yes absolutely
- plenty of free attractions and free transport
