This is a nice little restaurant in a great location on Little Stanley Street, Southbank. The customer service was great and the staff went to a lot of effort to make sure we were all well catered for. They were happy to rearrange the furniture so that all 10 of us were able to sit together. The decor was very nice and authentic and there was a great atmosphere. The food itself was reasonably priced and there were plenty of meals to choose from. I ordered two conical sushi rolls (one tempura prawn and one teriyaki chicken) as well as an iced mocha. The sushi was very nice although more care could have been taken with the presentation. The iced mocha was the perfect balance of coffee and chocolate and had a generous amount of whipped cream on top, which is always a plus. Overall I really enjoyed my meal at Ginga and would recommend this restaurant to a fan of Japanese cuisine or anyone wanting to try something different.

Ahmets is a vibrant and cosy turkish restaurant located on grey street, Southbank. There is a very warm atmosphere and the decor is very authentic, although perhaps a little bit over the top. There was a variety of items on the menu however most of the meals were very expensive. In the end I decided to get an entree - garlic turkish bread and tzatziki. It did take a very long time for our meals to arrive, half an hour at least. By the time the food got there we were all very hungry. My food was delicious and surprisingly filling, and everyone else seemed satisfied with there meal choices. Overall I really enjoyed my meal. I would recommend this restaurant to a fan of turkish cuisine or anyone looking to try something different.
